FREE SPIRIT DEBUT ALBUM PALE SISTER OF LIGHT RELEASED IN FINLAND ON FEB 4th 2009
FREE SPIRIT plays timeless melodic hard rock with a sound that brings you to the roots of nature and its mighty scenery. Their music reaches out to listeners of all ages with its captivating melodies. Massive choruses and guitar sounds are the brand of Free Spirit.
Pale Sister of Light takes us through the real world, dream and illusion. It is the band's first full length album including 11 tracks. Together these songs form a journey to freedom, whilst performing strongly as singles too.
Pale Sister of Light is produced by Carpel Music and it will be released via Edel Records Finland on Feb 4, 2009. Other countries will follow.
FREE SPIRIT was the winner of the Garage Countdown contest with their video "Until the Night". It was viewed over 82 000 times over the internet and is now running on The Voice TV -channel that hosted the competition.

Sami Hämäläinen (bass)
Timo Alho (keyboards).
Sami Alho and Pasi Koivumäki are the original founding members, and the current line-up was formed in 2006 when a group of like-minded musicians with a similar musical goal found each other.
During spring 2009 the band will be working with a new video and hopefully numerous live gigs!
